Song Min-ho, known as Mino from K-pop group WINNER, was officially sentenced today, October 1st, by the 10th Criminal Division of the Seoul Western District Court. The artist faced charges related to violating the Military Service Act.
The court handed down a sentence of one year in prison, which was suspended for a period of two years.
Following the sentencing, Mino expressed deep remorse, stating, “I have truly reflected deeply and regretted it every day. I feel nothing but apology to those who have loved me so much. There is no room for excuses. I offer my apologies once again.”
The court explained its decision, noting that Mr. Song admitted to all charges, demonstrated remorse, and pledged to fulfill his military obligations for the remainder of his service.
